When playing Poker, it’s important to treat the dealer with respect and be considerate of his decisions. While it can be tempting to blame your dealer when you’ve been dealt bad cards, it can also make your opponents feel uncomfortable and ruin their fun at the table. And don’t ever act out of turn! In poker, a hand consists of five cards. The highest five-card hand wins. Other hands are broken by higher cards. Players may have five-card hands that are not pairs. Using the fifth card in their hand, a player may bet to win or lose a bet. In addition, a player may bluff, betting that he has the best hand, only to lose. The high card, or high pair, breaks ties.
